A raw milk Salmonella outbreak has been linked to Raw Farm in California, according to the OC Health Care Agency. The farm recently issued a recall for its raw milk and raw cream products, consumers who have purchased these items shouldn’t consume them.

Seven people in Orange County are sick and 12 cases in San Diego County have been reported.  The patients range in age from 1 to 41 years old. Three children were so sick they needed to be hospitalized.

Symptoms of a Salmonella infection usually develop within six to 72 hours of exposure. They include nausea, fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea that is sometimes bloody. Anyone who consumed raw dairy products from Raw Farm and developed these symptoms should see a doctor.
