Kader Exports has issued a Salmonella recall for frozen, cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp sold at Costco and other stores.  The recalled shrimp was sold in 1.5 -lb and 2-ln bags under the brand names Aqua Star, Censea, Fresh Market, Kirkland, Unistar, Tops and Wellsley Farms. Consumers who have purchased this product should not eat it as Salmonella can cause serious illness.

Symptoms of a Salmonella infection include diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever. Anyone who has eaten the recalled shrimp and developed these symptoms should see a doctor and get tested.
