Consumers who purchased this meat should not eat it as E. coli can cause serious illness and death. Symptoms of an E. coli infection usually develop within one to three days of exposure. They include abdominal cramps and diarrhea that can be bloody. Anyone who ate the ground beef and developed these symptoms should see a dcotor and mention exposure.
