Spice Hunter Inc. has issued a recall for herbs and spices that were potentially contaminated with Salmonella. The company issued the recall after being notified by a supplier that ceratin lots of organic parsley may be contaminated with Salmonella. Because of the potential for cross-contamination, the company is recalling all products produced on the days the parsley was used. The company said it was not aware of any illnesses associated with these products at the time of the recall.

The recalled products were sold in clear glass jars marked with lot codes 20217C, 20220C, 20269C and 20270C on the company’s website and distributed to stores in Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
