Fresh Seasons vegetable and ranch dip cups sold in MN cafeterias and vending machines are part of the Mann vegetable Listeria recall. Although no illnesses have been reported in conjunction with these products, consumers who have purchased these cups should not eat them as Listeria can cause serious illness and death. Among pregnant women who are at elevated risk for Listeria, infections can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.
The recall includes 7.5-oz Fresh Seasons Kitchen Veggie & Ranch Cups containing cauliflower sold between October 30, 2019 and November 4, 2019 in select cafeterias and vending machines in Minnesota. The recalled cups have the UPC number of 8 10106 020334 and a “sell by” date of November 11, 2019.
Taher Inc. of Plymouth, MN issued the recall on November 11, 2019.
Symptoms of a Listeria infection can take months to develop. Consumers who purchased and ate these cups should watch themselves for symptoms including fever, headache, muscle aches and other flu-like symptoms sometimes preceded by abdominal cramps, nausea and diarrhea.
