Seneca Snack Company has issued a recall for cinnamon apple crisp snacks that may be contaminated with Salmonella. The company said it was not aware of any illnesses at the time of the recall but consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them as Salmonella can cause serious illness.
The company said it was notified by an ingredient supplier that one lot of ingredients containing cinnamon had the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recall includes certain lots of Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips and Clancy’s Cinnamon Apple Chips.
