ALDI has issued a recall for fresh peaches produced by Wawona Packing that have been linked to a nine-state Salmonella outbreak. The recall includes conventional and organic peaches sold in 2-pound bags and conventional peaches sold in bulk bins.
ALDI Fresh Peaches Salmonella Recall
The ALDI stores that sold the recalled peaches are located in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia. The recalled peaches were also available through Instacart. The recall includes:
- 2-pound bags of conventional peaches with the UPC 033383322001.
- 2-pound bags of organic peaches with the UPC 849315000400.
- loose, bulk peaches may bear a sticker with the Wawona name.
