Ice Cream Listeria Recall at Winn Dixie, Giant, ShopRite, Kroger…[Updated]

Updated August 15 with additional stores An ice cream Listeria recall includes Kroger, Ralphs,  Dillons, Fred Meyer, Winn Dixie, Giant, Martin’s, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Harvey’s, Fresco Y Mas, and other stores. The recall is linked to a Listeria outbreak that includes illnesses in two states.

Consumers who have purchased Soft Serve on the Go ice cream, sold in 8-oz, clear plastic cups with attached spoons, and still have them in their freezers should not eat them as Listeria can cause severe illness and death. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriages and stillbirths.

On August 9, Klein’s Real Kosher Ice Cream of Brooklyn issued a recall and halted production and distribution. The recall includes all soft-serve ice cream products made through 8/4/23. They include:
